Who we are

MyWord helps businesses review and manage comments on their Facebook and Instagram content, understand questions and objections, and coordinate responses. MyWord is operated by Clingman LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company in the United States. Contact us at chase@clingman.co about this policy or your information.

Information we process

Depending on connected assets, granted permissions and enabled features, we process Facebook Page, Instagram professional-account and advertising-account identifiers; account and Page names; post identifiers, links and media; ad metadata and spend; comments and replies, available author names and identifiers, attachments, engagement counts, timestamps and moderation status.

We also process response-request wording, recipient details, drafts, completion matches and activity records. Messaging features access available conversation participant information and timestamps to identify eligible recipients and send messages the operator requests. We process access credentials needed for authorized Meta API calls, webhook events, synchronization records, errors and AI usage records. Information you send us for support or deletion requests is also processed.

How we use information

We use this information to display and refresh comment threads, prioritize conversations, summarize objections, generate requested reply suggestions, perform authorized moderation and messaging actions, track response requests, diagnose errors and protect the service. AI classifications and matches can be incorrect and do not verify a person's identity or experience.

Service providers and external platforms

Meta provides the connected Facebook and Instagram services and receives authorized API actions. When AI features are enabled, relevant comment or conversation text and contextual information are sent to OpenAI for analysis, drafting or response matching. Saved results are reused when applicable. Setting an API request not to store a response is not a promise that the provider retains no data.

If an operator starts an optional public-data lookup, MyWord sends the selected public post URL and extraction options to Apify. Returned author or media information may supplement matching saved comments. MyWord does not send its Meta access token to Apify.

Cloudflare provides public website hosting and/or network delivery where configured and may process connection information such as IP addresses and request metadata. Links and externally loaded media may contact Meta or other media hosts, which receive ordinary browser request information. These providers' handling of information is also subject to their applicable terms and policies.

Storage and retention

The current development installation stores application records in its configured local database and credentials in server-side configuration. Comments, AI results, requests and activity history can persist between synchronization runs; this installation does not yet apply an automatic retention period to all records. Removing a comment on Meta does not itself erase its saved text from MyWord's moderation history.

Deletion requests are handled manually. There is currently no self-service account deletion feature. Contact us to request removal of stored information, including associated comment records, analysis results and activity history. We may retain information where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or protect the service, and will explain relevant limitations when responding to a request.

Requests and choices

You may contact chase@clingman.co to request access, correction or deletion of information associated with you, or to ask questions. Include only enough information to locate the relevant account or comment, such as a public comment link. Never send passwords or access tokens. We may request proportionate evidence of your identity or authority before acting.

Connected account owners can revoke MyWord's access through the relevant Meta account settings. Revoking access prevents subsequent authorized access but does not automatically remove records already stored in MyWord. Request deletion separately. Deleting MyWord's stored records does not delete the original Facebook or Instagram content.

Applicable privacy rights depend on where you live. Contact us to exercise applicable rights or raise a concern about our response. Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.

Security and changes

The current live-data development app restricts ordinary application access to localhost; its public webhook receiver verifies incoming signatures. No system can guarantee absolute security. Security and data-handling disclosures must be updated when the service moves to hosted customer accounts.

We may update this policy as MyWord changes. The published page will display its effective date.
